Here's the industry average for cold email open rates.

High performing Facebook ads in dental

With Facebook paid marketing, you need to resonate with the buyer instantly.

The goal: Massively increase CTR without relying on people clicking the 'see more' on the primary text.

This ad structure boosted the CTR from 2.2% to 15%... and is still reigning as the uncontested control.

How to stay motivated with a motivational swipe file

Pick your tool of choice, aka your weapon of choice. I really like Evernote because it lets you take pictures and scan documents with your mobile phone, screenshot with your computer, and allows you to compile all the loose ends into one hefty ‘note’. Best of all, it’s saved to the cloud and accessible anywhere. Feel free to use ‘Word’, Google sheets or anything else that’s simple and easy for you.

How to map out your career progression

Having a career map helps us keep our eyes focused on the summit while diligently scaling the mountain that is your career goals. “It doesn’t matter if you go up the mountain quickly or slowly – there’s still a mountain…you need to learn patience; that some things that really matter like: love, fulfilment, self-confidence, a skill set – all of these things take time. And, if you don’t ask for help to attain these things, you will fall off the mountain” – Simon Sinek

How to fix a lack of self-confidence

Having a lack of self-confidence is bad for your career growth • Less likely to engage with challenging projects • More likely to take personal offence from small things • Likely to feel less capable • Constantly comparing yourself with others • More willing to stay in your comfort zone There’s no way that you can build an amazing career if you don’t have self-confidence. It’s the soft skill that transforms people into ambitious and inspiring leaders. Confidence isn’t a feeling, it’s a belief.

What's your ONE thing?

Burnt out, stressed out and faded The reality is that 25-50% of people report feeling burnt out at work. They don’t feel like they’re making any serious progress and they’re being worn down because they’re being pulled in every direction at once. This is common, and the technology seems to have exacerbated the problem. “What we’ve lost, above all, are stopping points, finish lines and boundaries. Technology has blurred them beyond recognition.

How to Become a More Effective Learner

We all know that to be successful in today’s fast-moving tech age, it’s important to keep learning and to constantly up-skill. If anything, the ability to learn fast is what keeps companies alive — for individuals, it’s the ability to learn new skills and apply them to your roles at work and in life. The key to effective learning is to not be a passive consumer of any and all kinds of information. Effective learners are intentional about what they take in, they shortlist the very best channels

Why learning makes you more happy, healthy and wealthy

His areas of interest and expertise included: invention, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. Da Vinci was known as a polymath. This means that his expertise ranged through a wide variety of areas with the ability to draw on complex bodies of knowledge within those areas. It’s not about learning everything, but more about becoming well versed in areas that interest you.

Employees need to know their entitlements from contractual, Award and legislative standpoints. Employment law helps safeguard employees from being taken advantage of; promoting a safe and productive workplace.

Essential things to know about pedestrian accidents

Pedestrians accidents are more common than we realise. The Roads and Maritime Services show an increasing trend in pedestrian fatalities from 2014 to present. Pedestrian fatalities represent 16% of all fatalities in Australia. There is also a high count of serious injuries suffered by pedestrians in a 3-year period, which is currently at 3,447 people. Since pedestrians and motorists share spaces in close proximity, there are common risks which both motorists and pedestrians share when it comes

What is the difference between TTD and TPD claims?

New superannuation laws came into effect from 1 July 2019. The new laws brought about several changes, including automatic cancellation of insurance for inactive accounts. These changes may have left you wondering what insurance is actually provided through your superannuation account? Those contributing to a superannuation fund are usually covered for total and permanent disability (TPD) insurance by their fund, but many people are unaware of what TPD is and what it means if they are injured.

Scaffolder Wins Negligence Claim and Substantial Damages Payout

Working as a scaffolder/rigger is heavy, physically demanding work. Our client worked long hours six days a week constructing and bracing scaffolds, lifting and carrying scaffolding pipes, hammering metal in odd awkward positions and angles and erecting and dismantling scaffolding in all sorts of environments. By the end of the day he was exhausted. At home, he rested preparing for an early start the next day.

How to Apply for Probate

When a loved one passes away, the act of administering their estate can be a complex process. If the deceased had a will, the process often starts with a ‘Grant of Probate’. Probate is a court order that validates a deceased person’s will. Probate is said to be ‘granted’, and when this occurs, the executor named in the will has permission to distribute the estate according to the will. Probate is required under certain circumstances, for example, when a person leaves behind certain types of as

How is a professional executor paid for their services?

It is common practice for individuals to appoint their children or other dependants as executors of their estate. Overseeing the distribution of a deceased estate involves a significant amount of time and work on the part of the executor. The responsibilities of such a task can weigh heavily on someone who has no experience in these matters. Where an estate is particularly complicated due to the structure and nature of assets, or as a result of a blended family situation, an individual may appo

What is the Reggio Emilia philosophy?

The Reggio Emilia Philosophy is an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education, which values the child as strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge. Why we all need mentors if we want to be great

In history, mentorship has been the most efficient way to pass on knowledge and personal experience to an apprentice. we are all part of a highly globalised and interconnected network of communication, where so many people seem to value knowledge consumption instead of skill mastery. Mentors help you with skill mastery. My favourite definition of mentorship from Dictionary.com is: “a wise and trusted counsellor or teacher.” Let’s deconstruct this for a second. The mentor must have significant

Gratitude: How to surf on the waves of life

Being grateful is not ‘normal’ Not a grateful person? Don’t beat yourself up, it’s not your fault. We are wired to focus on the negative. Our limbic system, the primordial part of our brain, uses negativity as a survival mechanism. It tells us what to stay away from so we won’t get hurt, or worse, get killed. Humans shaped their environment and advanced technologically at a rapid pace. This left no time for evolution to facilitate the necessary adaptations for our brains to cope effectively. W

UX/UI Copywriting for Landing Pages

Clear Skincare Clinics — Black Friday Campaign

This landing page was particularly challenging because of the number of products on the page. Using buyer personas and the StoryBrand methodology, I was able to craft a journey for the reader by focussing on the emotional outcomes of buying the service or package. The key was to get the reader to visualise how they would feel after a session at the clinic and convince them to 'buy now and book later'.

Clear Skincare Clinics — Acne Campaign

When we initially deployed this campaign, we were smacked down by Facebook's regulations around the targeting and messaging of beauty products. This was bad because we needed social media to drive traffic to the landing page, and we needed the landing page to convert leads. So I reworked the messaging so it could fall in line Facebook's stringent regulations and still be persuasive for the reader.

Mortgage House — Black Friday Campaign

For the first time in their 33-year history, Mortgage House decided to create custom Black Friday home loans.

This short, jam-packed landing page shows how micro-copy can build confidence and trust by relating to the reader.

There was a strict time frame for this offer, so I focused on giving the reader exactly what they needed, in the shortest time, so they could take the next step.

Virgin Active — Website Re-brand

Virgin Active gyms wanted to reach new audiences by bringing a modern twist to their online presence.

My goal was to condense and simplify their core message so readers knew exactly what was being offered, and how they could be part of it without having to wade through too much information.

On this page, the headlines had to carry most of the weight. They had to be strong, punchy and direct, all while appealing to Virgin Active's core buyer personas.
